The KP150 is built with a 4-speaker stereo sound system and runs on batteries or an external AC adapter. A MIDI song recorder allows you to record your own keyboard performances and play them back. Other features include: 128 voice polyphony, 48 user presets, transpose, tune, a metronome, and a split/layer keyboard function.

Additionally, use the performance assistant to perform various idiomatic musical phrases that can be triggered by playing just a few keys. A built-in smart learning system can arrange song-specific exercises for study. Record and monitor your progress as you advance.
